A b o u t ;
I started building Eclipse on december of 2001, and it was released 4th of january 2002, but the idea (or should I say a dream) for the site was born long before that - round about the same time when I started liking Mugetsu. I didn't really think of actually making the site, since The Bouncer isn't all that reputable...yeah, I'm shallow. Anyway, since then I've searched the web for The Bouncer sites and bumped into quite a few of them - even some character shrines. So I thought "heck, why not" and started building the site.
The name "Eclipse" comes from Mugetsu's name, actually, which means "moonless". When i first came up with the idea of a mugetsu shrine, I knew I wanted it to have something to do with his name. "Eclipse" was one of the first ideas I had for the name, and one of the best ones, too. My biggest problem with it was that "eclipse" can also stand for solar eclipse, but "lunar eclipse" as a site name would be just plain lame. But overall, I'm quite happy with it.
To create this site, I used Arachnophilia 4.0 plus the highly technical Notepad. The graphic editor used for the site was Paint Shop Pro 7.
Thanks:
to Squresoft and Dreamfactory for making such a kick-ass game and even more kick-ass character.
to Katri for bearing and sharing my Mugetsu-obsession, playing The Bouncer with me over and over again and generally for being my sister. :D Love j00.
